The spring snow melt is just starting here in Colorado. As it starts to heat up, so does the event planning for the many different river festivals. The first up is The Golden Games on Clear Creek in Golden, Colorado.

The Golden Games has all the great events you normally see at river festivals… races, music, food, etc. But there is one thing that sets it apart from rest: it has a River Surf Comp!

Last year the Surf Comp was a blast! It drew all the local river surfers together to share a wave and the stoke that is river surfing. If you have a chance, come check out The Golden Games May 15th-17th!
